Question about parts compatibility 7870

Hey just a question about the parts i am going to buy,
in my pc just now there is
i5 2320 3ghz
P8H61-MX motherboard
gtx 550ti
cool master 500w
8gb ram

i would just like to know if the 7870 from here http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/asus-amd-hd-7870-ghz-edition-pci-e-graphics-card-2-gb-19430601-pdt.html is compatible with my pc?

Also iv heard lots on this form about how bad the cool master 500w is so i was also going to buy this psu http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/ocz-zs650w-uk-zs-series-atx-psu-650-w-11342059-pdt.html and wondering if that will be ok just to replace the cool master and will work with my pc?

Oh and will i need to buy any other cables or anything?

No problem, it will work...
PCIe is backwards compatible... So i PCIe 3.0 card (eg. R7870) will work in a PCIe 2.0 slot...
Since your slot bandwidth is 16x you wont even see any bottlenecking 😉

That OCZ power supply is fine but if you can find one buy the Corsair TX650 😉
