Hey guys, I'm new here. It's my first time building a PC on my own totally, so I got a question: Is the list of components below compatible?

CPU: Intel i9-12900k
Motherboard: ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO
Memory: ddr5 16g x 2 (details TBD)
Videocard: ROG Strix ROG 3090
Case: ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601
Power Supply: ROG Thor 1200W Platinum II (or 1000W)
CPU Cooler: ROG RYUJIN II 360 AIO

Thanks a lot!

Is the list of components below compatible?
compatible, yes.
necessary, no.

case & power supply especially are a big waste of money.
there are much better cases available for ~half the price of that ugly thing.
and much cheaper 1000w PSUs with the same or better performance that will handle this system fine.
you can also get the TUF version of that GPU for cheaper with a longer warranty and the same performance.

or are you just blowing money to have an ROG theme for some reason?
if yes, then you are good to go.

Should be but your paying a premium price for all the ASUS crap.

EDIT you could probably cut the price almost in half not using ASUS everything and get the same exact performance.

Well not actually in half since the processor and video card will cost around the same.
