Hello everyone,

I want to increase my pc basically to stream some games(on twitch, like CS:GO, Overwatch, etc), and reading on the forums(Tom's, reddit, Amazon etc.) I still could not find an answer for my questions.

Here's my current setup:
- Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i5 6600T 2.70GHz
- GPU: Nvidea GeForce GTX970 (Gigabyte)
- Motherboard: ASUS Z170-K
- RAM: 2x4GB(8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
- SSD: Corsair Force LS SATA3 120GB
- HD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1.5TB
- Power Unit: Corsair TX650 V2 Bronze Certified(650w)
- Case: Cooler Master Mid Tower HAF 912 Combat windowed version
- CPU Water Cooler: Hydro Series™ Corsair H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Streaming with my current setup it's almost impossible since it lags the stream, because my i5 can`t handle these games and streaming at the same time. Also have another PC it might be more expansive then upgrading this one.

Then doing some more research I found that upgrading my GPU and CPU might resolve this issue of streaming and playing in the same PC.

Here are the following upgrades:
- GPU: VGA NVIDIA MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming 8GB
(Brazil gaming Store GPU(KaBuM!))

- CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake 7a Geração, Cache 8MB 4.2GHz (4.5GHz Max Turbo), LGA 1151 Intel HD Graphics 630 BX80677I77700K
(Brazil gaming Store CPU(KaBuM!))

Do you think that this is the best approach?
Can you give me your opinion and suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

The 7700k will solve a lot of problems. Also the t behind your i5 means it's a low power way slower version. It was probably already struggling to not start bottle necking your gpu.
