ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4 has PCI Express x16 5.0 (CPU) and PCI Express x16 3.0 (PCH, at 4x mode). I am not sure I understand this. I have questions about 16, 8, and 4 lanes on PCI Express x16 3.0 before I purchase ASUS Tuf Mobo.
I have RTX 3080 Ti that will be on PCIe x16 5.0 slot which it will run 16 lanes, then a WD Black AN1500 NVMe SSD will be on PCIe x16 3.0 slot so will it run at 16 or 8 lanes? If it will be 4 lanes, I will not buy ASUS TUF z690. I have to make sure before I purchase it. Thank you.
