Specs:
GPU: RTX 2070 Super - Gigabyte Windforce - https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Graphics-Card/GV-N207SWF3OC-8GC#kf
PSU: EVGA 750 GQ: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=210-GQ-0750-V1

The question I had was concerning using 1 cable from the power supply to power my GPU, I saw people state that it is bad to have 1 cable deliver all the power to a GPU instead of using multiple cables.
At the moment, I am using this current cable: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=W001-00-000054 and the card seems to have no issues that I managed to notice.
Should I try to find an 8 pin to 8pin and 8pin to 6pin and use them separately instead of delivering power off of 1 cable ? Thanks

The thumb rule which began after Seasonic themselves stated in their manual for their PSU's is to not daisy chain connectors to your GPU but to run a standalone connector to the GPU's connectors, in spite of their own units having the option to daisy chain from the PCIe connectors. I myself have adopted the idea of snipping off the daisy chain end, well that's also because I do my own sleeving, so I do it knowingly.

FYI, it's advised to always work with cables supplied by your PSU in case the unit is modular. Some people think that adding cables from another PSU's will work so long as the connectors lineup/match but in reality's not all PSU's have the same pinout diagram. Additional info, sleeved extensions, fine to use, custom cables, need to be specific to your PSU.

In my Seasonic manual it stated not to use the single cable using both connectors if the power draw of the card was over 225 or 250 watts I forget been a few years.

If you have your manual it should have information also.

2070S has a TDP of about 215 watts.
