[SOLVED] Question About PSU Cables (June/03/2020)

Hi guys,



I hope you are are safe and sound.



I have my Corsair AX860i (I haven't used in years) and I lost all the cables that connect the PSU to the rest of computer parts. (24pin, SATA, PCIE...etc)

Is it ok if I use third party cables or do I have to use cables from Corsair?

I don't want to risk losing my PSU because i cant afford to buy new one.

You have to buy cables meant for that PSU. The kit you linked is for cable extensions and will not work. You can buy a replacement cable kit from Corsair, but there are other companies that make custom cables like moddiy and cablemod.

I didn't know that. I assumed there was a standard for all PSUs.
