question about qualiy of sound USB External Stereo Sound Adapter

HI! so I was wondering if I plugged this into a USB 3.0 hub would it work? and also, would the sound quality be worse than if i plugged this into the pass through on a keyboard? or even directly into the computer

Don't plug audio devices into hubs if you want to have reasonable latency. It shouldn't affect the quality, but some devices may stop responding or will show increased lag. Neither is good.

0 latency (unless you're talking hundreds of miles), minimal sound quality issues (nothing you can hear even on good headphones)
