So i was wondering because i am getting a r9 380x if i can connect it to my power supply here is my powersupply 500W 1.3V ATX power supply W/ SGCC W/ 8CM BLACK FAN W/ 20+4PIN, P4 W/ 2xIDE+2xSATA i really need help

Going to need the exact power supply - if you can't find the name, upload a picture of the lable on an image-hosting site like imgur.

No, it's not even close to being an appropriate PSU for 300W GPU like R9 380X, you need smth modern, with DC-DC, usually they're all 80+ Bronze at least (not necessarily the other way around). If you share link for your local online stores we could find you smth.

Sadly no all the good ones are high price ill probably get a used one or order one on the internet any recomendations?

Unfortunately, you got a very power-hungry GPU. If you couldn't afford a proper PSU, you really needed to be purchasing something like a 1050 Ti.

Used will depend on what the used market is like in your country Tier lists have issues, but you shouldn't be using anything that's a lower tier than a Corsair CX.

Hello people i just wanted to ask because i found some PSU thats not really that expensive but idk if r9 can run on it
FSP Hyper S 600W


Kablovi: 1x ATX 20+4;
1x CPU 4+4;
2x PCI-E 6+2;
6x SATA;
3x Molex;
1x Floppy.

thanks for the response my current psu is running a gt1030 2gb ddr4 so i didnt want anything like extra but it started making weird noises recently so i want to upgrade to a better psu and graphics card

Would it work ? Yes. Is it recommended for almost 250W GPU ? No.
Either raise budget for PSU or forget about AMD room heaters and get smth from nVidia.
