Question about Radeon HD 7700 series

So, i'm curious if any one else has had this problem. When I use dxdiag or run CPU-Z, they both tell me that my card is a Radeon HD 7700 Series, not if it's a 7750 or 7770. When I first got the computer, I checked the stats of the cards and mine and i'm pretty sure it's a 7770. Problem is, I don't remember how I got the information. Anyways, anyone know how I can find out which it is? or what's causing the problem? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Yeah it says 7700 series for me as well. I'm trying to remember how to check what exactly it is..

Try having a look in AMD Catalyst Contol Center at Info, then Hardware maybe?

12.8 only reads mine as a 5700 series in the CCC info so i don't think that way will work.

If you bought a 7750, you have a 7750. If you bought a 7770, you have a 7770.


What is the number of shaders it lists in GPU-Z

http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ Use gpuz, it will still probably say 7700 series but it'll give you the gpu specs. The 7770 is 640 stream processors, the 7750 is 512. Also you could take a look at the card, the 7770 requires a 6 pin power connection, the 7750 does not.

PC wizard will give you you model number and you can look it up that way.

Thanks! This is actually how I figured it out last time, but forgot what I used. Ran GPU-z and the Stream Processors is 640. You solved my problem, thanks!
