[SOLVED] Question About Ram Speeds with ryzen 7 1800x

So I have one ram stick of 8gb 1600mhz and one 16gb at 3200mhz all of them are ddr4 so I was wondering if I will get better performance in games if I remove slow 8gb 1600 and only have 16gb 3200mhz one. And I have Ryzen 7 1800x 3.60GHz and Gtx1080ti 11gb

I dont think they make 1600mhz ddr4. What is the model number of this stick?

Unmatched ram forced to run in 1 channel will KILL performance.

It's very old ram where can I find the model number of the stick when I run user benchmark its shows like one 24gb ram stick

Look on the stick of ram. There should be a sticker with info on it.

1600mhz and very old makes me think DDR3, but that would physically not fit in any AM4 motherboard, so it has to be DDR4.

sorry it is 2133mhz but it's very old ram here is number F4-2133C15S-8GNT

and here is 16gb one and again I messed up its 2666mhz i mixed up speed because I set 3200mhz in bios. here is number

You would be best just to sell both sticks and buy a proper kit like this:

If you don't want to spend $70, remove the 8gb stick and leave the 16gb stick in. Then turn XMP on in bios to get 2666mhz.
If you want better perfrormance you can overclock the single stick.
