Question about RAM stability

Hello everyone,

I have currently in my pc 4 sticks of ram, 3 of them are corsairs xms2 (1x2gb and 2x1gb) and one Gskill stick (1x1gb).

My question is if there is any problem using this setup or if its more stable using just the corsairs sticks (1x2gb and 2x1gb) leaving one slot free and 4gb total.

I'm running a Q6600 @ 3.6ghz, ram is at 800mhz, sorry if the question sounds silly 😉

Also forgot to mention i have a asus maximus formula flashed with rampage formula bios.

Generally it's a bad idea to mix ram sets at all.
Are you experiencing any issues though?

Run Prime or something of the like to test for stability

Sorry for late response, no im not having any issue or stability problem.
So if this setup is stable is it optimal than the 4gb setup?
