Question Question about Ram swapping?

Ok so about 1 hour ago I just installed Kingston Technology HyperX Fury Black 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM (HX426C16FB/16) and I swapped from another brad all the specs lined up pc wise..

My question is that i unplugged pc after turning it off and I put new ram in and once i started my pc back up after about 1 min of browsing web it restarted super fast about 20 seconds and i logged back on so ive been logged on for about 1 hour and 30 min now and no restart was there a update or something? It says in my system specs the ram is installed. im just curious why I had a second restart out of no where.??

This is the kind of question which you'll never get an answer to unless it keeps happening over and over again.

The general rule IME is that when you do "new things" to your build there are occasional "adaptations" that occur as the build reacts to the need for drivers, restarts, and detection of new equipment.

So it's always a good bet to just hope it doesn't happen again.
