this is my pc's specs for so you have the info for my question.
asrock z97 pro motherboard
750 ti gpu
650w power suply
4g ram
now for my quesiton, im looking to upgrade my ram and i was looking that the vengeance series if i go 2 8g sticks would i need more power or would 2 4g sticks be enough

Solution
You forgot to mention the processor in your Z97 board and the frequency for the ram kits you're interested in buying. On top of that you forgot to state which Pro you have since there are a number of ASRock Z97 Pro boards out there. Can you pass on a link to the ram kits? I'd suggest you sell the single stick of 4GB of ram and buy a 2x4G kit or the 2x8B route to take advantage of dual channel memory.

You also forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. The age of the PSU will also govern the effective power it can output.
