Got a new Asus monitor, turns out there is a stuck pixel. I already sent out the rebate to newegg so I do not have the UPC code. Talked to newegg in the chat, they told me to call Asus, talked to Asus and they said they could only repair it and not replace it, and said that even without the UPC code newegg should replace the monitor. So who is right, I understand why the UPC code would be a problem if i was returning it, but a replacement doesn't make me any money, it's not like im getting a free rebate plus the refund. So do they have to replace it, or am I stupid for using the rebate and have to live with that small little annoying dot for the rest of my life?
