Good afternoon, I have a stupid question, and I am hoping you smart people can assist me.
I currently play WoW, and in my downtime play, CoD, PUBG, and other random steam goodies. Any how, I have a 34” ultra wide monitor, it is 3440x1440 and 60hz.
So in WoW with everything on Max, I get well over 60fps, but in CoD black ops 4, I get around 15-25fps, with all settings on low. And it makes the game unbearable.
I understand the high resolution is what’s effecting the FPS.
PC specs:
GPU: GTX1070ti
CPU: intel i5 4560k
Ram: DDR3 Corsair 16gb 3000
Mobo: Asus z87
SSD: Samsung Evo 850 250gb
I thought a 1070ti would be enough. Could it be I am having a bottle neck from other parts of my PC? CPU, mobo, and ram are about 5-6 years old.
Should I sell the Ultrawide and get a 1440p 144hz g sync monitor, or would I be better off upgrading the Tri-fecta?
Your help would be appreciated!
