question about resolutions desktop

Hello ,guys!Is there anybody who knows if i am able to create custom resolution 800x600 120hz (desktop)even if my monitor doesnt support that resolution?
i mean if exist any file(config ,text,etc.) to can change/edit hz for resolution
remember i dont want to use it ,just to have in "list all modes" to test if it works counter-strike global offensive at 120 hz .

Exactly how do you plan to test it if its not supported by your monitor since your monitor will go black or say Input Not Supported if you're lucky. And then you're stuck in trying to figure out how to change it back when you cant see anything....

Lastly, the game won't care. The refresh rate is strictly between the GPU and the monitor.
