Question About RGB Case Fans

OK, so I recently purchased a Phanteks P400S Tempered Glass Edition. The case was advertised as being a "silent" case (The "S" in the title), but when the performance setting for the case fans are set, the fans get REALLY loud. I put a decibel measurer (I know there is a more professional way of saying that) next to the fan on performance setting and saw it reach upwards of 85dB compared to the silent mode of 50-55dB. Now, I want a case fan that will constantly make my PC 50-55dB. I did some research and found the Thermaltake Riing fan. This fan has RGB lighting on it, and I was wondering if that RGB would work fine with my motherboard, which only has 3-pin connectors for fans. If you guys say that they will not work with 3-pin, would this premium version, which is controlled by software on the computer, work instead?

Side note: The P400S comes with an integrated fan controller with 4-pin connectors, any way this could be used for the RGB? (I doubt it, but throwing out that fact just in case)

TLDR: Will RGB fans work if there is only a 3-pin connector on the motherboard, specifically the Thermaltake Riing?

Thanks for the suggestion, Chug. I've heard nothing but good about the SilentWings, but I wanted an RGB alternative. My only concern was the RGB not working properly when connected with 3 pins. If 3-pin RGB simply isn't possible, though, I'll go with this fan.
