[SOLVED] Question about Samsung's SmartThings App and Hub

I read some information about Samsung's SmartThings App and Hub. I understand that it works with various types of electronics and appliances. After experimenting with the app, it appeared to do nothing. I did some further research and it said that the app requires the SmartThings Hub to work. There are a couple of Samsung smart TVs in my house, but my home theater setup includes an LG 55SM8600PUA TV, Sony UBP-X700 4K disc player, Samsung HW-N650 Soundbar (with SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers), and a 2019 model of the Roku Ultra Streaming player. Out of curiosity, in terms of home theater compatibility, would the SmartThings App or Hub work with any of the mentioned components in my home theater or no?

smart things is used for zigbee and z-wave devices, its smart home control (like google home)
are your devices smart and are they using zigbee or z-wave protocols? ofc not
