Question about SLI

I am SLIing 2 980s. I had a curious question on my mind (Yes I am a little new to SLI). As for dedicated physx should I have my 2nd 980 handle physx while being SLI? Would that improve performance in any way in games that have Physx?

No, just run normal SLI without a card selected for Physx.
