Question about socket

So I am planning to buy the AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE, and a mobo with AM3+ socket. The processor is AM3 socket. Would there be any problems?

I am doing this upgrade to get rid of my bottleneck on the GTX660

am3 will work in am3+ socket, but not the other way around.
