question about sub folders

Will sub folder in the download folder work with Sim2 like the did in Sims1?

to a certain extent.
you can use sub-folders for walls, floors, ground cover, object and hacks.
but anything genetic (eye colours, skins, clothing, hair, etc) need to
be put directly in the download folder.
