Okay so I have an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO. When I built my computer I bought a WD BLUE M.2 512 GB SSD for windows and maybe some games like total war: warhammer 2. So I just bought a Samsung M.2 NVMe 970 EVO PLUS 1TB. So, when I bought the WD Blue drive I didn't notice it wasn't a NVMe drive but still installed it in the M.2_1 slot which could take advantage of using PCIe instead of SATA. Now, I have three questions. 1) Can I switch my WD Blue drive from M.2_1 to M.2_2 without it messing with windows? 2) If I download windows onto a USB and then install it onto my EVO PLUS while windows is still installed on my WD Blue drive, will it mess things up? 3) What is your recommendation for the easiest/best way to have my EVO PLUS drive installed in the M.2_1 slot with windows installed and the WD Blue drive installed in the M.2_2 slot without windows being installed on it any more? I think I have the steps I'm going to take to get this done but wanted to see your ideas first. Thanks in advance.
