question about the antec vp450

does the antec vp450 have 80+ bronze?

It does say "EuP 2010 compliant assuring efficiency and low standby power consumption"

No IIRC the only reason it doesn't is because the 80+ certs require active pfc.

is it also necessary to have the 80+ bronze? my comp build is just for everyday use (surfing the net,low end games (LoL),watching videos etc.)

Its not really necessary, it is a good indicator of quality though. In this case its not needed, the VP lineup is decent enough.

All 80+ actually means is the power coming from the wall (AC) is >80% efficient when it gets turned into usable power for the system (DC)

Its nice to see, but not needed. Just don't put something like a 7970 in there.
