does anyone on here actually have this headset? either one the full size / TKL

my initial purchase was gonna get CORSAIR - Gaming K70 RGB MK.2 SE Mechanical Wired CHERRY MX Speed Switch

or spend the extra 40$ and get the APEX PRO

what is more important in a gaming keyboard IS faster response time more important than actuation point? im assuming yes?

the corsair cherry mx speed has an actuation time of 1.2mm and a response time of 5.00ms

the actuation on the apex is 0.4mm and the response time is 0.7

for reference and comparison

here is a pretty good explanation behind their tech and why its the best out there worth a read Omnipoint switch explained

does anyone know the response time on the huntsman keyboard and the tournament edition I cant find anything on google only the actuation point and response time is on those? i think those might be the second fastest to the omnipoint from what ive been reading all night

Doesn’t really matter, most important thing is how comfortable you are. If you switch is too light or heavy you won’t like it, if you don’t like linear switches you won’t like it. When it comes down to response times most of your keyboard commands aren’t exactly fast anyway you’re better off getting a mouse with enough buttons for your use because you hit them faster.
