Question about the new jedi stuff

I know they're not giving details about the unlock, but I have an
interpretation question.

When it says on the site under the new jedi stuff that credit will be
given for professions completed, does it mean everything you
grind/master will help you, or does it mean just the professions in
your "path" under the current system? I'm considering simply ignoring
my next holo to try out different builds, and I know there's an
argument to be made for doing that even with no regard to the jedi
trials, but I'm wondering if it would help me in that regard as well.
It's OK if the answer is "no one really knows," too; I just wanted to
know how other people interpreted the line.

The way one of my friends interpreted it was like this:

You need to fill in 24 'blocks' by completing quests (that info was from
the Friday Feature). Every profession you master gives you 'credit'
into filling in those boxes. He assumed that you can run the beginning
quests to get as many blocks completed as you need, and then turn in
your 'credit' for the remainder.

How they track the 'credit' is up in the air... does it start after you
are on your silent holo (and the holo professions count, obviously), or
does it count all the professions you mastered? In the latter case, you
can go about and play whatever professions you want. If its the former,
you won't get any credit until after you are on your silent holo.

My advice is to play whatever you want. The grind will kill your
passion for the game through burnout. Its happened to a ton of people.
Remember, its a game. Only do the professions you want and have fun
with it.

The way i see it is that if you have done 2 of the 5 skills that the old
system used then you will be 2/5 of the way in the new system
i could be wrong but thats how i see it
