Question about updating BIOS and Utilities.

I recently just finished my first build here are my specs.

CPU-i7-4790k
CPU Cooler-NZXT Kraken x61
GPU-GTX 980 EVGA SC 2.0
Ram-8 GB's of Gskill Ripjaws 1866MHz
MOBO-Asus Maximus VII Hero
SSD-Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
HHD-WD Black 1TB
Power Supply-EVGA 850G2

Everything went great no issues at all besides a few tweaks in my bios, everything is running great I'm getting great temps on my CPU and GPU games run amazing. My question is when i first built the PC i put the disc in for the Motherboard it installed a bunch of stuff and updated the BIOS. I then went to Asus's website and checked the latest BIOS version and it's the same version I'm running now. Am i good or is there something else i need to update? just thought I'd ask to make sure, but as of now everything has been running and performing great, any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd you have the latest bios then no need to update anything. You ate all running great, that is the great thing. If you tried to update to same bios then the bios tool will tell you that you are updating to same version. You can check the bios version in CPU-Z.

Hello... " if it ain't broken... Don't try to fix it " don't go hardware/software update crazy on it.

Create a Restore Point on it at this time and name it, so you can revert back to it for future install/update problems.

Ok i just checked the Asus website and a new BIOS update is available it must have just been posted within the last few days, i have version 2201 and the latest version is 2304, is it worth it to update it or should i just let it be for now?

I don't like to do BIOS update unless it fixes a issue I have.

Ok thanks for the info, i am just gonna stay on this BIOS version and if any issues arise and they can be fixed with a BIOS update then ill update it to the latest version.
