Question Question about Upgrading to RAM

This is the motherboard that I'm stuck with right now

Its called SuperMicro C7H270-CG-ML

For a long time I've been using this RAM brand from Crucial and according to CMD, this is how its called and placed

DeviceLocator Manufacturer PartNumber
DIMMA2 Crucial CT8G4DFS8213.M8FB
DIMMB2 Crucial CT8G4DFS8213.M8FB

So when I'm trying to look for the same brand Ram in my area, its not there and I was wondering if it has to be the exact same RAM or if it can be a different set of RAM sticks? The reason I'm thinking of more RAM is supposedly I'm told that More RAM improves on the video editing performance which I do a bit of. I'm right now satisfied with Gaming performance but I only worry if my video editing will cause stress to the CPU in the long run

And the CPU I'm using is Intel Core i7 7700

So is it safe to use a different group of sticks instead of the same ones that I have from Crucial?

If you mean adding new sticks to old sticks; decent chance of yes. No better than possibly/probably.

If you mean replacing all old sticks with all new sticks, almost certainly yes. The Crucial configurator is very good if not infallible.

Darn...Crucial isn't really all that popular in my place.

And I'm not sure if they are exactly compatible with the motherboard...I guess I'll pass on this for now and wait till I can go to US to get the exact models..or get another whole set.

..Or probably best to wait for that PC upgrade that I plan to do within three years.
