Question Question about USB-C to USB-A adaptors and video transmission

So long as you are using a USB-A port and cable which are USB 3.2 or 3.2 gen 2x2 it should be compatible. USB 3.0/3.1 will probably work though as the USB 3.0 spec is intended for use with both compressed and uncompressed video.

Keep in mind, "USB-C" has nothing to do with speed or standards aside from the form factor. It is the physical SHAPE of the connector, and nothing more. There are both USB 3.0 and USB 4.0, and everything in between, when it comes to USB-C.

Yes, if they actually are. I'd advise you to go with high quality cables and adapters like those sold by Tripp Lite, Anker, Eaton, Leviton and if you need to go with a more budget friendly brand, Cable matters is ok, but not up to the same quality as these others. Keep in mind that just because a product states it's compliant with a certain standard doesn't mean it actually is. Many of these Chinese made products on Amazon, Newegg and Ebay fall pretty far below a passing grade.

I'll keep a look out for those brands and try to get the reputable ones as you say. The Chinese ones can tend to just break randomly and be of bad quality yes. Thank you very much for your help!
