Question about windows 8.1 shutdown button

Hi,

I have installed this Windows 8.1 on my home PC and I cant see the shutdown button at the app page. I mean my office PC has this shutdown option at the top side just near the user account option button and when i want to shut down I need to first sign out and then shutdown the machine from main window.

Is there any option from which i can do the same as that of my office PC.

This doesn't solve the problem. As the OP said, they want to know how to get the power button on their start screen.

Ohhh I see....I wasn't paying full attention to the post. I have my Windows 8.1 boot straight to desktop, so I don't have to worry about this.
