[SOLVED] question about xmp

Im new to pc and i want to as i have corsair vengance rgb pro 16 gb ram and an i5 8500 and gigabyte z370P-D3 motherboard. Im thinking of turning xmp on but i have a few questions is it safe for my pc can it damage anything and will it void varranty.

Solution
You are better to set up the XMP in the BIOS, it will let the PC to run stable and well. Only the extreme overclocking will damage your PC compontent(s), and it will void the warranty.
