Question for a RAM Upgrade - Compatitbility

Hi All,

I'm checking in to upgrading my RAM from 16GB to 32 GB. This is my current setup:

• 
  Windows 7 SP1
  ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87
  CORSAIR XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000)

Now I'm guessing since I'm using 240-pin RAM that that is what I need to upgrade with, so that takes the 288-pin upgrades out of the picture, yes? Because I had my eye on this one.

If so, then I wanted to know if this would work as an upgrade as well as any other recommendations:

• 
  G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (8 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)

Also - would it even be worth the upgrade? I realize the speed is about the same but going from 16 to 32 - would I notice a difference?

Unless you're doing something extremely memory heavy, like video editing, you won't see a difference.

Even so called "multi-tasking" having a bunch of browsers or applications open isn't that heavy.

if you deal with several GBs big excel spreadsheets it may help.
