Question for pc

Solution
R5 1600 is not for the same money, it costs $100 dollars less than i7-7700. It performs worse in single core for about 10%, but in multicore it outperforms i7 by 30%, and games are becoming to use more than 8 threads. So only thing that is wrong with your idea is that it isn't good bang for buck. For 100 dollars you could have GTX 1070 instead of 1060, if the prices of graphic cards will be normal right now.

Solution
You don't need high-speed memory for Ryzen in all cases, for example, in many games performance difference between 2200 and 3200 MHz ram is about 5 fps. By the way even if you choose the fastest RAM for Ryzen and the cheapest for i7, it still costs 36 dollars less, and motherboards for Ryzen at the same cost has more features. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6hZT9W https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6Pzff8
