Question for the Old-Timers

Hi everyone,

On this particular application, I NEED to use the ancient 9-pin monochrome output on this video card. What would happen if I connected one of those BD-9 to DB-15 VGA adapters and then connected the output to a standard VGA monitor? Will the monitor display a black & white image or just go Pfsttttttt and stink up the office?
