[SOLVED] Question on CPU Cooler

Solution
Not for overclocking no. It would be adequate for stock boost settings and power limits. Under a benchmark or heavy load the fan would rev up a lot.

You'll want to look at Noctua, be quiet! Dark Rock, maybe some of the larger Scythe units if you want decent results on air.

11900K is not worth the money, just overclock the 11700k.
I'd kinda doubt it...........unless you aren't particularly excited about temperatures one way or another.

"Enough" is a fuzzy word. It means whatever you intend it to mean.

Google for results of that cooler with those CPUs.

Most over-clocker types are usually quite concerned with temps, so maybe you'd be unhappy if say 85 degrees was commonly seen.

It would matter if your ambient temps were 17 C rather than 27 C. There is a near 1:1 correlation between ambient and observed temps. Reduce the ambient, you reduce the observed.
