So i recently built a new pc perfectly capable of handling 4k and ive done nothing but 1080p I recently in the last 2 years got a new monitor 144hz 1080p 1ms (prior) to building new pc

However Ive been Looking at this TCL 43" 4k TV on Amazon and was wondering if anyone else had one if i should get it as quality 4k Monitors tend to be 300+

That or was looking at a 1440p and wondering how big a jump graphically i should suspect...

So basically TV as PC in or out?

Present Monitor: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Non-Glare-FreeSync-Optix-G27C2/dp/B074G96MPM

The facts are, it supports 4:4:4 and 4k at 60hz, so it is usable as a monitor and people have.

Rtings.com spoke about this tv in a recent article stating:

"If you need a smaller TV to use as a PC monitor and save some money, then look into the TCL 4 Series/43S425 2019. It can't get nearly as bright as the Hisense H9F, but it's a decent budget TV that has what you need to use as a PC monitor. The input lag is incredibly low, and it supports proper 4:4:4 chroma at 1080p, 1440p, and 4k resolutions with a 60Hz refresh rate. The response time is fast, so motion looks clear. Unfortunately, the viewing angles are poor, the out-of-box color accuracy is disappointing, it doesn't display a wide color gamut, and it has uniformity issues...

However, it performs well in dark rooms thanks to its excellent contrast ratio.
If you want the best budget TV to use as a PC monitor, look into the Hisense, but if you want something cheaper and smaller, the TCL is a good alternative."

That being said, the
Hisense 43H6570G

is the option I went with.
