I was wondering about adding my new graphic card on to my computer, I've watched a video about removing the graphic from the HP computer. I went and look and I don't see my graphic card. The computer came with the AMD A6-5400K and AMD Radeon HD 7540D. My question is that is the 7540D included in the A6-5400K ? and will the EVGA GeForce GRX 650 Ti fit in my computer ?

Specs

Window 8
P6-2330
AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon HD Graphics
3.6 GHz
6.00 GB of RAM

PS: I"m a noobie, sorry if I asked stupid question.

Solution
From what I've heard FSX has a dedicated community of users, and I would start looking there. Even years after being discontinued. There are some very high hardware and software recommondations for the true "flight sim" experience. APU don't cut it, sorry. You need to look at i5 or i7 plus one or two high video cards to drive the multi-multi-monitor experience at good rates with addons, mods, and peripherals.
Yes, the "graphics card" is part of the A6 chip. If you have a PCIe slot, which I am nearly 100% certain you do, you will be fine to upgrade.

Check your specs to be sure, but yeah, go for whatever card you want.

The A6 is an APU, meaning, the graphics card is part of the CPU, so the CPU has both on one chip.
As for the GPU Upgrade, you will need at least a 500w power supply upgrade to run the GTX 650.

An update, I saw the noobie part.... your motherboard has a PCIe x16 2.0 slot. The current cards out are mostly 3.0 cards. They will work fine in your motherboard. They won't take full advantage of the card, but honestly, you or anyone else won't notice the difference.

Also, your power supply is only 300 watts. Depending on the card you get, you may need to upgrade.

Good luck!

Well thank you to you all for answering my question ! What power supply would you guys recommended ? and what is the best website for me to find some cheap and good deal since I'm running out of money. .-.

As I look on Amazon, will the Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS (CX500) fit on my computer ? [ I thnk they're all the same size but not sure] and Should I start from the power supply first then buy the GTX GeForce 650 Ti. Last question 😛 Is it easy to install the graphic card and the power supply ? I just bought my computer and I'm afraid that if I may of broke it, I might not be able to return my computer back. I'm sorry if i may of ask too many question but do i need a new chip ? since the 7540D is part of the A6.

The graphics card is probably the easiest part you can install. You not be removing or replacing anything because it literally part of the CPU chip. The Power Supply is only slightly more difficult with all the power connectors. I'm assuming here HP didn't do anything strange with their case design, which used to be quite common for name brands. Corsair is a good brand, 500W is plenty, and doing the PSU first is the safest route. You don't need a new chip (APU) just because you are installing a dedicated GPU. If you want a better CPU, or wanted better graphics would be the dedicated GPU, then yes you would need to upgrade your "chip" (APU).

Just throwing out there, give us a picture of your motherboard first.

Some of the older HPs I've worked on (I only say older because I haven't worked on a newer one recently) have proprietary CPU power pins.

(The other thing to check is to see if your PC requires a low profile (thin) graphics card, which in a build with an APU, it very well might.)

How do I check that ? The point of doing all these is just for the Flight Simulator X which lagging badly with high graphic setting. Basciscally I do not want to spend another $ 500 just to build a gaming pc or buy a new one. I figure it out if I just add a new graphic card would be easier. I also wanted to change the case of my computer too but in my opinion I don't think I can do it and I probably will end up with a dead computer.

Solution
All I really want to do is to play on high setting without lag. So I'm guessing that right now I need to upgrade my power supply to 500W and the GTX GeForce 650 Ti. I will post a picture inside of the PC tomorrow, in case the GeForce 650 Ti won't fit and I might need another case or look for another GPU that will fit instead. [correct me if I'm wrong] and an intel i7 ?..

Well how do I post a picture on the forum ?
