im sure most if not all people go through this, im just wondering if there is a way to reduce or make the lag more bearable. but before that let me explain a little. my issue is fps lag and i suppose regular lag ( by regular lag i mean the kind of lag where you input a command like an attack and its delayed by like 1 or 2 secs, probably internet lag) when i am playing in a game and a large amount of players are on screen. be it in town or in the field or in battle. included among these players are the effects from skills that seem to add to the lag.

if your wondering what game i am playing to be asking this, i am playing blade and soul taiwan. of course since its overseas and well over 5000 miles from california, i realize just the distance by itself will cause huge lag. i use a ping booster to make the game more bearable to play. in towns arent a problem unless there are a lot of people on screen and in dungeons i dont really have any ping issues. its more in the field that i have issues with lots of people. whenever im in an area with a lot of people my fps drops and my reactions to attacks and reflexes in the game are delayed quite unbearably. is it perhaps a hardware issue and i need to upgrade my pc more or perhaps there is a way to direct all my resources to the game whenever i am playing (dunno if this part is doable or if it makes any difference).

if youre wondering my pc specs,
GPU:STRIX GTX 970 2GB
CPU: i5 4690k 3.5 Ghz
RAM: 16gb
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132125

also i have a samsung SSD with windows 8.1 installed on it.

also a side note. may be a bit much to ask but if posslble, could it be done without having to reduce graphics settings? of course, given what im asking, i may in the end have to do that.

You don't need to upgrade anything. I dropped some frames too on a 290x when I tried it myself. It's just how every MMO goes, as each player is treated as a fully separated entity, and must be loaded so (their presence, their character models, their equipment models, everything gets downloaded from the server and rendered on your PC on a per player basis, exponentially increasing the load depending on how much people are on screen).

Ping boosters or not, you're still physically far as well, and that's the main issue with your input lag. Besides a direct VPN tunnel, you can only boost so much.

You can't do much but withstand it, or lower graphical details to try avoiding framerate drops.
Upgrading that PC would be a waste of money...

Upgrading that PC would be a waste of money, as it's more than capable already.
