Question Question on new mobo and cpu with the drives

It depends on the version of Windows. Windows 10 is actually designed to be swappable. However, whether it remains activated depends on the activation type. First things first, make sure you uninstall all of the drivers you have on Windows, including video drivers. This is basically it.
As for activation, it should do this automatically. But in case it doesn't, make sure you have your Windows key at hand or also be prepared to have to phone Microsoft or to have to buy a new key.

I linked my windows key to my email, so that shouldn't be a problem. I am more worry about none of the drives are going to work with the mobo and I would have to reinstall instead.
