Question on new monitor

Hello, I'm planning on getting a new monitor for my computer, but the only thing I'm concerned about is that it comes in oem packaging. So will it be coming with the power cable for it to actually work or do I need to go out and buy one for it?

As long as it isn't open box, it should come with a power cable.
