hi folks:

according to specs on this PSU, it has 3 PCI_E (6+2)connections and 2 CPU (4+4)connections. All are 8 pin connections on the PSU. These 5 connections are all grouped together but only labeled once ( 6+2 PCI-E and 4+4 CPU). They dont distinquish which are for the CPU and the GPU- so the question is--Does it really matter which one i use for the CPU and which 2 i use for my video card.

appreciate any comments

thanks Alex for the reply, much appreciated. :)

I have 1 other question about the video card. It has 2 connections on it. 1 is 6pin and the other is an 8 pin.
My PCI_E cables are all 6+2 on that end of the cable. One cable i will just plug the 6 pin in. The question is on the 8 pin connection. I thinking i can combine the 6+2 to plug into the 8 pin or i can use a 6 pin to 8 pin wire that came with the card. Was wondering if one of them is better then the other or if it doen't matter in that aspect also ?

Sorry for the - not stupid questions but maybe unknown common sence question
