I'm quite sensitive to the tearing, so I got myself PG25Q since launch and pair it with 1080ti rig.

In past couple months, I've to travel often, I decided to buy Asus hero iii 2060 model. The laptop comes with 240hz ips penel.
I play BF5 and PUBG and the average fps is around 100. I turn off v-sync on both in-game and Nvidia control panel, but I don't really notice the tearing.

Is it because of high refresh rate? or maybe my eyes suck lol

Thank you for answers,

Screen tearing can happen under or over the refresh rate if frames drawn don't match on screen during the refresh cycle. Vsync, Gsync or Freesync helps sync frames but because your refresh rate and fps are high it'll be difficult to notice but tearing is there.
