Hi all. A rookie question, if I may. I'm trying to build out a home recording studio using a PowerSpec B749 PC with the referenced motherboard. I installed a SIIG DP Firewire 800 DPIe card but W10 Pro can't recognize it on its own, so I apparently will need to make a card-to-board power connection (per SIIG's recommendation). SIIG provided an adapter cord that requires an ATX 4-pin power feed (250mm?). The MSI website says the Z490 features a single 4-pin power connector but, frankly, I don't see it. I presume it's in use already, so I'll need a Y splitter.

My rookie question: where is the 4-pin connector on this motherboard?

Hope the above makes sense! Thanks and cheers.

Ken

EDIT
Hi all. I posted a rookie question re where to find a 4-pin connector on my motherboard. Further exploration helped me discover that pins come from the power supply, not the motherboard. Apologies for unnecccessarily occupying real estate here, but I'm very glad to have found this site! Moderator, feel free to delete this post (couldn't figure out how to do it myself).

Thanks and cheers.

Ken
