I just built a sandy bridge system. I got the MSI p67AGD55 motherboard and a corsair TX 750W PSU. I am confused as to how to hook the power to the MB. There is a 20 and an 8 pin connector. The 8 pin connector had a slot cover over 4 of the pins. Does this mean I use 4 pin on that connector and the 20 pin connector on the other plug? Or should I be using the full 8 pin and 20 pin connector?

Any help is appreciated!

The 8 pin supposedly provides more or better power when overclocking. I really have no idea of the effect, I've ran a 4 pin and a 8 pin when overclocked, didn't see a difference.

I saw one SB board that had 2 x8 pin aux power connectors, crazy
