I currently use a Sony NW-A45 Walkman. It has served me well and has given me satisfactory sound quality for nearly two years I am currently looking at replacing my Bose Quiet Comfort 25 noise-cancelling headphones with Bose's QC 35 II, NC 700, or Sony's WH-1000XM4. I prefer to listen to my music through a wired connection. In addition to replacing my headphones, I am considering replacing my NW-A45 with the NW-A55. However, I have a question to those who have used both the NW-A45 and NW-A55. I have read a couple of reviews that the NW-A55 provides richer sound than the NW-A45, but is the improvement significant enough to justify shelling out roughly $200 for the newer player or should I hold on purchasing the NW-A55 and wait either until Sony releases an NW-A65 or whatever they call the NW-A55's successor or until my NW-A45 goes bad? I want a great sounding MP3 player, but I also am the kind of person who likes to have the "best bang for your buck" scenario.

Thanks.
