Question what is better for CPU in gaming AMD or intel

what is better for gaming :AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor Or Intel Core i5-4460 LGA 1150 CPU ? Also what is a good Motherboard for the FX 8350 under $100 ? Any help would be great !

I use to use AMD CPU's and I loved them, but I have made the switch to Intel with my latest build, and I can say for sure that Intel CPU's are beasts. I'm running an i7 4790k and nothing stops it.

The i5-4460 is approximately equivalent to the FX-8350 when it comes to multi-core performance, but the i7-4790k destroys it.

in this case the 8350 is better, if you get a i5 that's unlocked then the i5 will stand better.

Intel chips still have better power efficiency and preform better under load.

Yes it sure does but trying to justify spending over $300 for a cpu where ya can get one for about $200 or so But ya getting a Intel I5-4460 or something around that values will work thanks !
