HELP!!!

hey guys. just got a 2014 MSI GS70 from a friend which has windows 10 installed on it. my main goal is to wipe the drives clean and then install a new version of windows 8.1.

the wipe program im thinking of is acronis discleanser (anyone got a better program please share)

So since the gs70 does not have a disc drive I have an external one. I'm not sure if my computer can boot from an external disc drive. and even if the mobo supported it could I boot 8.1 from cd after i wipe all the drivers and everything on each hard drive?

I am thinking I have to put an ISO of a wiper on a usb and 8.1 ISO on another and use both of them to wipe then install. does this sound like the best idea? I would rather use the external disc drive but I can see me running into problems doing it that way.... thoughts??

also again if anyone knows a really good program to delete the hell out of a drive please let me know.

Solution
Hello... 4B) I mean only have ONE Drive connected ( BOOT Drive) to the MB, during any Windows install... Windows can be obtrusive to other drives and put files on them that are not needed... it also make it easier to remove the drive later and NOT Disrupt normal OS operation... less future problems... the decision is yours B )
5) You can use a internal/external DVD drive or the USB stick for the install... the USB stick will go way faster in DATA transfer speed B )
Hello... ANY Windows install media has "drive Tools" on it to do what you need.
1) Choose "Custom install" and when you get to part where it shows your drives before a install starts/confirmed.
2) look below for the "Drive TOOls?" APP and all you have to do is delete all existing Partitions... It may take a couple re-boots to get them all... but that's all you got to do. B )
3) Windows will create New one on it own when you are ready for the 'Clean install"
4) Also I would recommend doing the "install" with only the OS drive installed/powered to the MB.
