Question with cpu voltages...fx 6300 Urgent.

I set my voltage at 1.37 but in the bios and also in cpu z is showing to be around 1.4 or 1.39.
Obviously turns on and all that or i would know i have a problem. Question...What happens with a lower voltage than it shows?

I am trying to lower it because i am oc'g. And want the lowest temps i can get.

What happens if i keep lowering the voltage? And also is it wrong? Any side effects?

If you lower the voltage too much, some cores may fail when benchmarking. The worst that could happen is the computer will refuse to boot up. You can fix this my just clearing the CMOS and then trying again.

The increase is llc taking effect & is normal.
What board are you using ?? What kind of speeds are you trying to hit ??

Im using the asus m5a99fx pro r2.0.

I would like a 4.0 or a 4.3....
