I have recently purchased a system to put together. It's been a while since I've done one from scratch so I'm a little confused. My setup is below:

Biostar H61MGC
500W Cooler Master PSU
Intel LGA1155 i3 Sandy Bridge CPU
Azza Toledo 301 Case

Now at first I was confused because there are spaces that rise in the case that line up with my mobo holes. I was looking for brass risers, but it seems now you connect it directly to the case which I did. I connected everything and it started, but after setting the BIOS and, testing the computer a couple times it just shut off. Now, I cannot get the computer to power up at all. I tested my PSU and I'm getting voltage so I know that isn't the issue. Is it possible that I messed up my motherboard because I didn't use the brass risers that didn't even come with the case. Thank you in advance.

The raised dimples take the place of standoffs. You may have a grounded case wire or a faulty board. Try breadboarding it outside of the case. Set the board on an insulated surface with just the CPU/HSF, memory, PSU connected. Connect the monitor to the integrated video. Short the two pins momentarily that the power switch would plug into to start the system. Try to boot to BIOS again. If it fails to boot, it's the board. If all is well, shut down same way as you started. Connect your HDD to the SATA and PSU and try to boot to Windows this time.

That's what I thought Clutch...I didn't get anything except screws with the case. But how do I short out the two pins? Paper clip or something? I"ll try to google it but just in case thank you

You can short them with anything conductive. There's no 'lethal' voltage there to harm you. Usually folks use a screwdriver tip. Or, if your case is close by, plug in the front panel "power switch" connector and use the button on the case.
