i want to by a gigabyte board g31 list some of processor compatible with it.

The G31 is a Socket 775 board, thus it supports Core2 CPU's. For more info, go here:

Core 2 Duos and Core 2 Quads are compatible with it.

But why do you wanna buy a G31 only?

G31 is only good with dualcore cpu's

starting with a mobo and finding a compatible cpu is a rather backwards way to build/upgrade a PC.

normally you want to find a CPU that fits you application and then find a mobo that supports it.

Anything special about this mobo?
