It's not a dumpster fire like a lot of Cooler Master PSUs (though they don't sell as many of those awful ones as they used to). Problem is it's just hard to recommend. It's a very average, budget PSU, hec-made and while Teapo caps aren't worrisome in 2019, they're 85 degree caps.
If you could get an MWE Bronze 550 (note that this is Elite, don't buy anything with Lite in the name) for $40, it would be a great budget purchase. But the MWE Bronze 550 tends to be priced in the $60-$80 range, which means it falls in an awkward spot where you can get the preferable modern Corsair CXs for less money. And at the range it's in, there are also better power supplies; usually something of a Corsair TX/RMx or SeaSonic Focus or EVGA G2/G3 can be found in that range and sometimes as low as $60 when they're on sale.
In other words, it's not a garbage PSU, but to really be worth purchasing, it either needs to be cheaper or better.
